Single-Drop Valve-Gate Nozzle
Produces Large Parts
Osco's Jumbo valve-gate nozzle is designed for large shot sizes and shear-
sensitive resins. With its large feed channels, this custom single-drop nozzle
was engineered to deliver 28 lbs of plastic to produce the pictured container
bin. The nozzle was based on the foundational platform of the company's SCV
single-cavity valve gate, offering the same simplified installation and opera-
tion, and robust design. It also eliminates the need for a multi-drop manifold
system along with the temperature and valve-gate controllers.
