DLC-Coated Latch Locks Suited for Cleanroom Use
Meusburger E 1820 flat and E 1840 round latch locks are designed for secure
locking of the floating plate in three-plate molds. Diamond-like carbon (DLC)
coating of their switching elements reduces wear, provides longer service life
and enables dry running, which makes the latch locks suited for use in clean
rooms. Precise control cams ensure accurate switching.
The compact E 1820 features large, stable surface latches for optimal force
transmission. The round E 1840 is an ideal solution for mold bases that do
not allow for protruding attachments; the installation space required for the
round lock can be easily created through unidirectional machining.
