Core Unscrewing Device Provides
Core Positioning Accuracy
Superior Die Set will showcase its Threadformer core unscrewing device,
which uses a powerful hydraulic motor and a fixed mechanical dead stop to
achieve core positioning accuracy. It supports long thread depth, pitches and
types. Water cooling of the cores can be achieved with the use of a right-angle-
style unit or by a twin design for molds with multiple cavities. The device is
available with an optional baseplate that has coolant lines and water connec-
tors, or an insulator plate can be added for high-heat applications.
