The F5055 features high concentric and axial runout values to minimize vibra- tion and a form-locking grooving system for insert indexing. Well-suited for cast iron, steel and stainless steel components, the cutter is available in diameters ranging from 63 to 250 mm for insert widths of 2 to 4 mm. The F5138 helical flute cutter achieves high profiling and shoulder milling feed rates for work with steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous metal, difficult-to-cut metal and cast iron. It uses four-edged, tangentially indexable inserts, whose helically positioned cutting edges and free- cutting geometries provide high concentricity to reduce cutting forces and vibration. The cutter is available in diameters ranging from 1 1/2" to 3" (40 to 80 mm) with two different cutting lengths per diameter. The use of the same indexable insert system as the F5141 shoulder mill enables sharing of the same insert sizes.
