This addition adds even more time savings to an already great product line. Moldmakers no longer need to make the face or retainer plate for our slides. All slide assemblies from the smallest SL-10-10 to the mid range SL-40-90 now have a matching slide face available for shipping "off the shelf." For the very small 10 and 20 Series VersaSlides,® we have selected P-20 material and we have finish machined the slide face complete. Just cut to the proper length and add your geometry. For the 25 through 40 Series Versa-Slides® we have selected H-13 (soft) material and left 0.005 grind stock on all sides. OMNI Mold Systems LLC has expanded its Versa-Slide product line to include the new SL-45 & SL-55 Series of standard slide units. The new sizes (5.250" and 8.000" wide) have been added to fill gaps in the existing product line. These new additional sizes bring the total "off the shelf" offering to 68 standard assembly numbers with any number of possible "modified" units by mixing and matching components. OMNI Versa-Slides, widely accepted as the "industry standard" offthe-shelf slide assemblies, have been running successfully in plastic injection molds for over 12 yrs. The company also offers a free layout service to show your parts in our standard mold bases (where applicable) and can help you decide which slides will work best with your project. The partnership allows OMNI to offer full custom mold bases to all of its customers for the first time. Through the partnership, Target Precision is able to offer all OMNI Mold Systems standardized products from mold bases to sucker pins. This partnership expands the capacities of both companies.
